Brickfields Hanuman Temple, KL

About the temple
Located in Brickfields, standing as one of the most busiest temple in the area, Arulmigu Sree Veera Hanuman Temple is listed as one of the most favorite place of worship especially for Hanuman devotees around the region. Previously, this temple was near a river bank which currently situates the Tun Sambathan monorail station. This temple is said to have many mystical stories including witnesses of human-sized glowing figures around the temple compound by a lorry driver in the middle of the night and other mystical appearances witness by few late-night passersby. Many devotees who have been affected by black magic or evil spirits come to this temple for spiritual recovery. The temple will be visited by many devotees especially on Thursdays, Saturdays and a massive turnout on Hanuman Jayanthi.

About the temple architecture, the beautiful murals which reflects Hanuman’s life journey are hand-drawn on the ceilings by artists from India. The highlight of the temple is the Gopuram, which is said to be a tail monument of Hanuman, the only one in the world, which is 17 feet tall with 41 coils. The Hanuman tail monumen will be the tallest in South East Asia.
