Introduction
Lord Hanuman is a great devotee of Lord Rama and he blessed with the powers of supreme lords. He is brave, spiritual and is well versed with Sanskrit language. All the devotees if lord Rama do seeks the blessings of Lord Hanuman. It is believed that by chanting “Sri Ramajayam” do helps in getting the blessings of this bachelor god.


Some facts about Hanuman Tail Puja
This puja is of forty-five days and is done for the fulfillment of wishes. According to the legends, if this very ritual is performed with outmost faith and devotion then ones wished would definitely be fulfilled. The puja is done to attain knowledge, strength and wisdom. It is also believed that worship of this monkey god offers courage to an individual to fight against all odds and peace of mind as well. The most important point that need to be kept in mind while performing this puja is that one need to stay away from menstruation as well as copulation for 45 days.

Some facts about lord Hanuman
According to legends, lord hanuman is the incarnation of lord Shiva, who is known to be the destroyer and lord Rama is the incarnation of lord Vishnu. Vishnu took birth in the form of Ram to kill the demon king Ravana. To help lord Vishnu in this holy task, other gods have taken the form of bears and monkeys as well. It is believed that lord Sheshnag incarnated as Lakshman and lord Shiva as hanuman. Hanuman was born on the full moon day of Chaitra month and for this reason on the arrival of the full moon day of each year, the birth ceremony of lord hanuman is celebrated. The celebration has been named Shri Hanuman Jayanti. Since Tuesday is the day in which he was born therefore the day is considered to be very auspicious day to worship lord Hanuman.

The Hanuman Tail Puja
This puja vidhi is of 45 days. So the most important thing that is needed for this ritual is a picture of hanuman tail. An individual who wants to perform this puja must a small paste and apply it on one circle in each day. The paste must be made from Haldi or Turmeric Powder, Kumkum or Vermillon and Chandan or Sandalwood powder. On the last day of the puja one can easily reach to the tail of lord Hanuman. On careful observation one can see that the picture has got thirty-six spots and after that one can reach the beginning of the tail. Fresh fruits, milk and sweets are usually offered to this monkey god.

Conclusion
The tail puja of Lord Hanuman is done to gain strength, knowledge and wisdom. Therefore it is very important to have good thoughts and faith for the fulfillment of ones wishes. It is advised to put Kumkum on the statue of lord hanuman as well as on to the Hanuman Yantra. Water, rice, gur and supari are kept in front of either on the statue or Yantra. After that the following mantras are recited:

Manojavam Maarutatulyavegam
Jitendriyam Buddhimataam Varistham,
Vaataatmajam Vaanarayoothmukhyam
Sriramdootam Saranam Prapadhye.

Hi sir you are saying women mustn't do this pooja during menstruation time....that means she can continue the rest of pooja process after her menses right?....Say if she completed for 14 days without a break and then need to stop on the 15th day due to Periods then can again continue the rest from the counting she left isn't it?
